I am trying to cut down on dairy and drinking coffee. Ever since I had been cured of being lactose intolerant, I kind of went off the deep end eating any dairy product in sight. Today was very hard for me because I made Ashley some chicken enchiladas. Boy those are yummy! I ate a bite of hers but nothing more. I can't remember what I ate so much of before when I was lactose intolerant. I think a lot of bread and fruit. I am hungry!

Booglary, Part Two

So those pesky thieves are back at it again! Last night I poked my head in the door and something just was not right. My bed was gone! I grabbed a brick and went inside but nobody was lurking. Upon further inspection I found that they came back for my bed and a brand new garbage can I bought to clean up the mess they made the first time. It was actually looking pretty good before they came back. Since there first intrusion, I put security doors and keyed deadbolts on all the doors. It did not stop them. They got on my roof and kicked in a panel reserved for my swamp cooler and cam in thru the attic. Once inside, they took apart the deadbolts from inside. I am kinda shocked that they stole my bed and trash can. I don't really care about those things, but I am bummed that they are still getting in my house. Today, I boarded up the attic really good. I also added another keyed deadbolt to all the door in addition to the ones on the security doors so they can lock the screwed side between each other. That way, no one can open the door without the keys! Ashley found a dog on craigslist that she wants to move in. I am not too crazy about roommates but we will see. I miss sookie my old dog. She was a real sweetheart even though she was dumb as a rock. I can't imagine taking on another emotional investment like a dog. It's like having a kid. Sookie was so needy. She needed constant attention and so when I wouldn't come home, she would wander the neighborhood until finally one day she got hit by a car. Bad owner!

I was walking down the sidewalk the other day texting and there was this garbage can with the lid open. I did not see it and walked right into it forehead first. Very dazed but even more embarassed I kept walking and got a horrible headache. When I got into my car I gave it a rub and got blood all over my fingers. It left a crazy mark in two places, on the bridge of my nose and smack dab square on my forehead. Sometimes scrapes look cool but I look kinda dorky. I keep looking even more dorky when I tell people how it got there.

Yesterday I put two new security doors on my garage and back door. It was really hard to do by myself. At one point the top bar fell off and landed on my head. It hurt really bad and I said a few bad words. It is nearly impossible to hold up the door and drill holes to put in the screws. I sure could have used a few extra arms. When I finally got the first door on, the door knob was not lined up correctly but I was able to deadbolt it so it was good enough. On the second I put the deadbolt on and the bolt was broken so I just put two doorknobs on the door till I could get a new deadbolt. Hopefully that will keep the booglars out but I am sad that there is nothing really good left to steal, haha.

So I let this neighborhood kid stay in my house for a few days since his family kicked him out. He was kinda messy and smelly but I felt bad for him so I let him stay. Unfortunately no one told me till later he was having drug problems and that was why no one would help him. The last time I spoke with him he said he would be out of my house by last weekend, which he was but he left behind a bunch of uneaten food left by his grandmother who was trying to get some meat on his bones. This kid was so skinny and I'm sad to think that he was on some kind of crazy drugs which suppressed his appitite for all those sandwiches, chicken wings and bean dip. It was quite smelly so I cleaned it all up. As I was going to throw away all that garbage, I went out to the garbage and it was full of rain water because someone left open the lid. I was about to throw something in there when I saw that someone wrapped up a dead dog in a garbage bag and threw it in there. It was totally disgusting, as it was submerged in the rainwater and there were flies buzzing around it's stink. I decided that I wouldnt throw anything in there after all and closed the lid. Towards the end of the day I was thinking that the garbage truck wouldn't be able to pick up that can if it was full of water and so I drilled some holes in the bottom and the gross water shot out and got all over my hands. It was way stinky and I almost threw up! I better get back to work...

Today I was riding my bike back to work, late for a reason I won't even mention but I was zoomin' like at full speed and I forgot about the sewage drain at the bottom of the gully. I hit it and my bike did a full flip over my body and bent all up in a twisted pretzel and I did too! Amazingly I did not break my neck and I was able to untie my bike and zoomit the rest of the way to work in under 3 minutes! I am not sure if anyone saw me but if they did, they sure got an eyeful... best crash ever. My neck is so mad at me.

No art to show! Recently my house was broken in to and the boogalars stole many many things, a 16ft ladder, a window mounted ac unit, but worst of all MY COMPUTER! All my art and photos were on that computer and my wacom was hanging out the USB so that is gone too. Soooo... until I get those things replaced I supposed there will not be much to post. Sorry.

In other news, I just bought a new truck. I really love it and now I go places and see things and know in the back of my mind, I could bring it home if I really wanted to. Most of the time I refrain but the allure is oh so tempting!

Convoy Ride

So I have finally started the Convoy ride. It was completely rebuilt by Bob's big boys and now Dianne Freakin' Facepainter and I are going to paint it. Here she is now laying on the etching primer.

Next, we painted the bottom white and put in the sky blue. I was going to project it but our projector's bulbs are both burnt out. We ordered some new ones that are supposed to get here today but this was yesterday and I was getting antsy. I decided to grid it out and draw it on. Then one of the carnies started bitching about how long I was taking and that I was a pussy and that he could just sketch it on himself if I would just give him a pencil. So I grabbed a piece of aluminum and taped a china marker to it (cause I'm a chinaman) and I just sketched it out on a stick. It seemed to work out pretty good. I had most of it sketched out by the end of the day.

And here we are at lunchtime It's coming along nicely!
